Arco Excavators was started by William "Tom" Sawyer in 1998 after more than 20 years in the excavation business, where Tom started as a heavy equipment operator and worked up to project manager.  The majority of Arco's work is now performed in North Andover, MA where licenses are held to install sewer, drain, and septic systems.

Arco is licensed, fully insured, and bonded to work within the public streets of North Andover, Andover, Haverhill, and Lawrence, MA.  Arco is also licensed to install septic systems in Westford, Andover, and in the state of New Hampshire.

Arco performs everything from residential site work to municipal road work.  Currently, the company is contracted by the North Andover Public Works Department to install and repair water, sewer, and drain pipe for the town.  Having held this contract for many years, it is safe to say Arco has worked on almost every street in town!
